Perspectives On Higher Education Policy in Virginia



This site was created in October 1997 and is maintained by the Higher Education Administration Program in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies of Virginia Tech's School of Education. Its purpose is to facilitate the distribution of information and to stimulate discussion of policy issues affecting higher education in Virginia. The contents of these pages express the independent views and opinions of the authors. They are not intended to represent the official comment or position of the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV), the Governor, the Secretary of Education, the General Assembly, or Virginia Tech.

Four new reports have been posted. Topics include conflicts of interest in research, using international data in higher education, transfer programs for success, and changes in employment practices. See Policy News.
